Cedarcrest Medical Center is hiring an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and offices according to hospital protocol
- Follow infection prevention guidelines, including terminal cleaning of discharged patient rooms
- Properly handle and dispose of regulated medical waste
- Restock cleaning supplies and linens as needed
- Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests from nursing units
- Report facility maintenance issues to the appropriate department
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior custodial or environmental services experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning protocols
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to fifty pounds for extended periods
