Cedarcrest Medical Center is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging department, which recently completed installation of a new 3T MRI system and continues to invest in modern imaging technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders
- Position patients and select appropriate technical exposure factors
- Practice ALARA principles and radiation safety protocols at all times
- Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly
- Provide clear instructions and support to patients before and during procedures
- Participate in a rotating weekend and holiday call schedule
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification required; Pennsylvania state licensure required
- Current BLS certification required
- CT experience preferred
