Cedarcrest Medical Center’s Surgical Services department is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN to support our surgical teams across general, orthopedic, and gynecologic procedures, with the opportunity to be part of our newly renovated surgical suite as it comes online over the next eighteen months.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct scrub and circulating nurse support during surgical procedures
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures
- Monitor patient safety and sterile technique throughout surgical cases
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and counts
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency surgical cases
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania RN license
- Minimum two years perioperative nursing experience required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Current BLS certification required
