Cancer Care
Since opening in 2015, the Cedarcrest Cancer Center has brought advanced oncology services to patients throughout the Allegheny Highlands, sparing many families the long drive to Pittsburgh or Altoona for treatment. Our multidisciplinary team includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, oncology-certified nurses, and licensed clinical social workers who meet weekly to discuss complex cases.
We offer a full range of chemotherapy and infusion services in a comfortable, sunlit infusion suite, along with linear accelerator radiation therapy on site. Our tumor board approach ensures that every treatment plan reflects the latest national guidelines while remaining tailored to each patient’s individual circumstances and wishes.
Support services available to Cedarcrest oncology patients include:
- Oncology nurse navigation from diagnosis through survivorship
- Nutritional counseling and support groups
- Genetic counseling and risk assessment
- Palliative care consultation
- Wig and prosthesis fitting through our Boutique program
The Cancer Center also hosts an annual Survivors’ Celebration each June in Harlow Falls Memorial Park, bringing together patients, families, and caregivers from across the region. Community donations to the Cedarcrest Health Foundation help fund transportation assistance for patients who need help getting to appointments.
