Heart & Vascular Care
The Cedarcrest Heart & Vascular Center has served the Allegheny Highlands region for more than three decades, offering a full continuum of cardiac care from prevention through advanced intervention. Our board-certified cardiologists work alongside cardiothoracic surgeons and vascular specialists to provide coordinated treatment for coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, valve disorders, and peripheral vascular conditions.
Cedarcrest Medical Center is proud to be designated an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, reflecting our commitment to rapid, evidence-based treatment of heart attack patients. Our cardiac catheterization laboratory operates around the clock, allowing our team to open blocked arteries quickly when minutes matter most.
Services offered at our Heart & Vascular Center include:
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
- Echocardiography and stress testing
- Pacemaker and defibrillator implantation
- Vascular ultrasound and peripheral angioplasty
- Cardiac rehabilitation and risk-factor counseling
Our nurse navigators help patients and families understand treatment options and coordinate follow-up care, including referrals to our cardiac rehabilitation program at the Cedarcrest Wellness Pavilion. We also partner with community organizations throughout Kettle County to offer free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings each year.
