Orthopedics & Sports Medicine
The Cedarcrest Orthopedic & Sports Medicine team provides comprehensive musculoskeletal care for residents throughout Kettle County, treating everything from youth sports injuries to complex joint reconstruction. Our fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons perform total hip and knee replacements using minimally invasive techniques designed to speed recovery and reduce hospital stays.
Our Sports Medicine Clinic works closely with area high schools, including Harlow Falls Regional and Bramford High, providing athletic trainers for home football games and rapid-access injury evaluation for student athletes. We also see recreational and competitive adult athletes for issues ranging from tendonitis to ACL tears.
Orthopedic services include:
- Total joint replacement (hip, knee, and shoulder)
- Arthroscopic surgery
- Fracture care and trauma surgery
- Spine consultation
- Sports injury evaluation and concussion management
Patients undergoing joint replacement benefit from our Joint Camp pre-surgical education class, taught by our orthopedic nurse coordinators, which helps set expectations and speeds the road to recovery. Our outpatient rehabilitation therapists then continue care close to home through the Cedarcrest Rehabilitation Services network.
