Pediatrics

The Cedarcrest Pediatrics practice has cared for children throughout the Allegheny Highlands region for over twenty-five years. Our board-certified pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners provide well-child visits, immunizations, and sick care in a warm, family-friendly environment designed with young patients in mind.

Our office is decorated with a nature theme that children have enjoyed for years, and our waiting areas are separated for well and sick visits to help keep healthy children away from contagious illness. We also maintain extended evening hours several days a week to accommodate working families.

Pediatric services include:

• Newborn and well-child checkups
• Immunizations following CDC guidelines
• Sports and camp physicals
• Developmental and behavioral screening
• Same-day sick visits

Our pediatric nursing staff also coordinates closely with the Cedarcrest Emergency Department and Renner Community Hospital to ensure continuity of care when a child needs urgent attention outside of normal office hours. Parents can reach our after-hours nurse line for guidance on whether a visit is needed.
