Surgical Services
Cedarcrest Medical Center’s Surgical Services department performs thousands of procedures each year, ranging from same-day outpatient surgery to complex general and specialty operations. Our operating rooms are equipped with modern laparoscopic and minimally invasive technology, allowing many patients to return home the same day with a shorter recovery period.
Our surgical team includes general surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, gynecologic surgeons, and urologists, supported by a dedicated staff of surgical nurses, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and sterile processing technicians. Renner Community Hospital also offers a surgical suite for select outpatient procedures closer to home for residents on the western side of the county.

- Outpatient and same-day surgery
Patients preparing for surgery are invited to attend a pre-operative education session where our nursing staff reviews what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. Our Surgical Waiting Center provides families with regular updates from the operating room throughout the day.
