Community Benefit & Annual Report
As a not-for-profit health system, Cedarcrest Health reinvests in the community it serves rather than distributing profits to shareholders. In fiscal year 2025, Cedarcrest Health provided an estimated 14.2 million dollars in community benefit, including charity care, health screenings, education programs, and support for community organizations throughout Kettle County.
Our community benefit efforts in FY2025 included:
- 3.8 million dollars in charity care for uninsured and underinsured patients
- Over 2,600 free screenings provided at health fairs and community events, including blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood glucose checks
- 412 women screened aboard our mobile mammography van, which visited workplaces and community sites in Harlow Falls, Renner, Maple Glen, Bramford, and Ellery Township
- 215,000 dollars in sponsorships supporting youth sports leagues, school health programs, and local nonprofit organizations
- Continued operation of our free community nurse line, staffed around the clock
The Cedarcrest Health Foundation also supported capital improvements at both Cedarcrest Medical Center and Renner Community Hospital during FY2025, funded in large part by generous donations from grateful patients, local businesses, and civic organizations across the region.
Cedarcrest Health publishes a full annual report each year detailing our financial position, community benefit activities, and quality outcomes. Copies of the annual report are available upon request by contacting our Marketing & Community Relations department at (814) 555-2100.
