Meet the individuals leading Cedarcrest Health and Renner Community Hospital into the future.
J. Thomas Weller
Mr. Weller has served as President & CEO of Cedarcrest Health since 2011 and previously served as Chief Operating Officer. He holds a Master of Health Administration degree and serves on the board of the Pennsylvania Hospital Association.
Deborah Ann Castellano
Ms. Castellano oversees financial planning, reimbursement, and capital investment for Cedarcrest Health. She joined the organization in 2006 after more than a decade in healthcare finance in western Pennsylvania.
Rajesh Patel, MD
Dr. Patel is a board-certified internal medicine physician who joined Cedarcrest Health in 2003 and was named Chief Medical Officer in 2014. He continues to see patients part-time at our Harlow Falls primary care office.
Marguerite Ellsworth
A registered nurse for over thirty years, Ms. Ellsworth oversees nursing practice and patient care quality across Cedarcrest Medical Center and Renner Community Hospital. She began her career as a staff nurse in the Cedarcrest Emergency Department.
Gregory Ostrander
Mr. Ostrander leads information technology strategy for Cedarcrest Health, including the MyCedarcrest patient portal and electronic health record systems. He joined the organization in 2009 to help lead the system’s move to electronic records.
Sandra Kowalczyk
Ms. Kowalczyk directs recruitment, benefits, and workforce development for more than 1,800 Cedarcrest Health employees. She is a strong advocate for local nursing scholarship programs.
Anthony Marchetti
Mr. Marchetti oversees Cedarcrest Health’s network of primary and specialty physician practices throughout Kettle County. He previously managed practice operations for a multi-specialty group in central Pennsylvania.
Wendell Pruitt
Mr. Pruitt has led Renner Community Hospital since it joined Cedarcrest Health in 2004, guiding its growth as a 74-bed critical access hospital serving western Kettle County. He is a lifelong resident of Renner.
Claire Donnelly
Ms. Donnelly leads community outreach, communications, and philanthropy efforts for Cedarcrest Health, including the Cedarcrest Health Foundation. She joined the organization in 2012.
