Cedarcrest Health Announces Flu Shot Clinics Across the Region
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — November 5, 2025 — Harlow Falls, PA
HARLOW FALLS, PA — Cedarcrest Health will offer a series of free and low-cost flu shot clinics throughout Kettle County this fall, aiming to make seasonal vaccination convenient for residents of Harlow Falls, Renner, Maple Glen, Bramford, and Ellery Township ahead of the winter respiratory illness season.
Clinics will be held at the Cedarcrest Health Pavilion, Renner Community Hospital, and the Bramford Family Health Center on a rotating schedule through the end of November. Walk-ins are welcome, though patients are encouraged to bring their insurance card; uninsured residents will not be turned away.
“Flu season puts real strain on our Emergency Department and our inpatient units every single year,” said Dr. Harold Ansley, Chief Medical Officer. “A flu shot remains the single best tool we have to keep people, especially older adults and young children, out of the hospital this winter.”
Cedarcrest Health nursing staff and community health workers will staff each clinic, and staff will also offer information on pneumonia and shingles vaccines for eligible patients. Employers interested in hosting an on-site clinic for their workforce may contact Cedarcrest Health’s Community Health Office.
“Prevention is so much of what we do, even though it doesn’t always make headlines,” said CEO J. Thomas Weller. “These clinics are one of the most important things our team does all year.”
