MyCedarcrest Patient Portal Upgrade Now Complete

HARLOW FALLS, PA — Cedarcrest Health has completed a system-wide upgrade of MyCedarcrest, its online patient portal, delivering a faster, more mobile-friendly experience for the more than 62,000 patients who use the portal to manage their care across Cedarcrest Medical Center, Renner Community Hospital, and affiliated physician practices.
The upgrade, completed over the President’s Day holiday weekend to minimize disruption, includes a redesigned mobile interface, streamlined appointment scheduling, and faster access to lab and imaging results. Patients can also now message their care teams directly through the portal and request prescription renewals with fewer steps than the previous system required.
“We know MyCedarcrest is how a lot of our patients interact with us between visits, so it needed to work as hard as our staff does,” said Priya Nakamura, Chief Information Officer for Cedarcrest Health. “This upgrade was about removing friction — making it faster to find a result, message a nurse, or schedule a follow-up.”
Existing MyCedarcrest users do not need to re-register; usernames and passwords carried over automatically. Patients who have not yet signed up for MyCedarcrest can enroll at any registration desk or by calling the MyCedarcrest support line at (814) 555-2299.
