Accepted Insurance Plans
Cedarcrest Health participates with a wide range of insurance plans to help make care accessible and affordable for patients throughout Kettle County and the surrounding Allegheny Highlands region. Because insurance networks and plan offerings change from year to year, we encourage you to confirm your specific plan and provider network status by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card, or by contacting our Patient Access team.
As of 2026, Cedarcrest Medical Center, Renner Community Hospital, and our affiliated physician practices are in-network with the following plans:
- Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield
- UPMC Health Plan
- Geisinger Health Plan
- Aetna
- Cigna
- Allegheny Highlands Community Health Plan
- Kettle County Employee Health Trust
- Medicare (Traditional and Medicare Advantage plans)
- Medicaid / PA Medical Assistance (Physical HealthChoices)
- Keystone First Health Plan
- AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania
- Laurel Ridge Employer Health Alliance
- Railway & Trades Workers Health Fund
- TRICARE
If your insurance plan is not listed above, or if you are uncertain whether your specific plan is in-network, please contact our Patient Access department prior to your appointment. In many cases, out-of-network benefits may still apply, though your out-of-pocket costs may be higher.
Patients who are uninsured, or whose insurance does not cover a particular service, are encouraged to speak with a Patient Financial Services representative about self-pay pricing options and our Financial Assistance program, which offers a sliding-scale discount based on household income and size.
We recommend bringing your current insurance card, along with a photo ID, to every appointment, and notifying our registration staff promptly of any changes to your coverage, employer, or address.
